Just get a faster lens; camera doesn't really matter unless you want a bigger sensor, which is doubtful since I'm assuming you're not printing A4-sized prints or something. Crop factor is always a big deal, but since shorter-focal length lenses seem to be cheaper (especially around the Sigma brand), it might be an advantage.
